Evohndahl    Dark Jason 2007-03-25

Card Name: Kang (The Conqueror)

Card ID: MAV-176

Card Text: At the start of the combat phase, if you control 6 or fewer resources, move Kang to your hidden area, exhaust him, and exhaust target character with cost 5 or less. At the start of the recovery phase, move Kang to your visible area.

Bug Description: (1) While waiting to choose the combat phase triggered effect, the game will automatically choose Kang as the target. (2) After #1 happens, pressing backspace will cancel the effect completely.

Repro Steps:

- Build a Kang deck.

- Play Kang (The Conqueror).

- Wait until his trigger fires at the start of the combat phase.

- Hover the mouse over random targets, but do not press the mouse button.

- Observe Kang being chosen as target, without user input.

- Press backspace to cancel.

- Observe cancellation of mandatory triggered effect.

Expected Outcome: (1) Target should not be chosen without user input, and (2) user should be unable to cancel a mandatory effect. (Also, if the effect was instead a "may" ability, backspace should only rewind to the start of the trigger, instead of cancelling completely. This is a usability issue as the game is enforcing a choice of "do nothing" in response to the trigger, when what the user believes they are choosing is "let me choose the choices for this trigger again".)
